Reviews and Ratings
My stay at this hotel was quite mixed. While the grounds and spa facilities were enjoyable, the dining experience left much to be desired. The staff were generally attentive, but inconsistencies in service overshadowed some of the positives. Overall, I found the hotel overpriced for what it offered, especially in terms of dining and room upkeep.
I had an average stay at the hotel, which has seemingly lost some of its former charm. The spa and grounds were lovely, but the restaurant experience didn't live up to expectations, especially with the high prices and mediocre food. Although the room had its perks, like a hot tub, some elements of the stay weren't ideal, especially regarding maintenance. I’m unsure if I would return for another visit.
Charlton House is a charming boutique hotel that offers a wonderful escape with its cozy atmosphere and beautiful gardens. The rooms are unique and comfortable, though one could have benefitted from better details in the ensuite. The dining experience stands out, with delicious meals and attentive service. The breakfast was particularly impressive. However, some areas of the hotel could use a little revamping to enhance the overall experience.
I had a memorable stay at the hotel, particularly enjoying the relaxing spa services and the beautiful dining experience. The deluxe room with a private hot tub added a special touch for us. However, the service experience during booking was a bit frustrating due to some miscommunication. Overall, the hotel was a lovely retreat, but the booking process could use some improvement.
